This thesis study explores the modern seaside architecture in the period of the Socialist Yugoslavia in connection with the politics, economy and tourism of the time. The socialist and capitalist context came from both sides while Yugoslavia were somewhere in the middle.
The objective of the thesis is to answer the issue of national identity in Yugoslavian unification and its role in architectural activities. All this study serves to understand the processes and circumstances in which architecture were built so that knowledge can be applied to the case study and make a new project proposal - "Hotel Adriatic 5* ".
